data source connection problem

    I have a shared source of which i am not being able to establish connection from the computer other than report server itself. Getting this error:

    Login failed for user 'NT AUTHORITY\ANONYMOUS LOGON'

    But when i vpn to server and try to test data source connection or run report, its running fine.

    Any help is appreciated. Thanks,

    How is the data source configured to connect to the data source?

    If Windows Integrated security, and the DB Server is on a different machine, You may be getting the Double Hop issue. where users credentials are not passed on to the db server.

    Thanks for your reply Ray, and yes my report server and db server are in different boxes. When I use sql authentication, it works, but having problem with windows authentication.
