Interesting initiative ... but ! is Microsoft Data Mining still alive ?
Since long time I see no new features added to it.
More: the top developers (Jamie MacLennan, ZhaoHui Tang, Bogdan Crivat, the authors of "Data Mining with Microsoft SQL Server 2008") are all gone.
So, what ?

Yes. The Data Mining is moving to the Machine Learning in Azure.

Microsoft marketing people are specialist in doing that.

More: why "MachineLeaning" on Azure ? Big Data and Azure are an oxymoron ...
