I read the 2nd edition of this book several years back. It's not about how to use BI tools at all, but rather more about how to apply data mining concepts to business problems. Read this in addition to one of the more technical books on SSIS.

This is what I usually do.
1- Write down five questions about the topic, data mining in this case.
2- Go to your nearest book store, use the books there to answer your questions... allow two minutes per question per book you check; the book that serves you the better, that's the one you have to buy.
