CU installation in sql 2017

  I have SQL 2017 with CU14 (14.0.3103)installed and when i try to install CU25 my DB engine is not recognized. What could be the cause and how to fix it.

  I have default instance and reporting services (14.0.600.1763) installed .

  is there an error, with what credentials do you start the setup?

  Where is your default instance missing => Screenshot?
