Creating Fixed Width Flat file with Header and Detail records

  Hi Guys,

  I am working on financial project.

  I got a req for creating FIXED Width (1219 Bytes) file with header and details records.

  Header has 15 fields and some of them are like Filler with spaces,run number of package of that day,total amt,total records including header

  Detail record has 67 columns,most of them has to be filled with filler as spaces.Some of them has datatype as Decimal.Every columns are of different sizes.

  Columns of Detail records are suppose to retrieve from multiple tables.

  Please help me out.

  I really appericiate ur help in advance.
