  Can anybody please suggest is there any way to create HTML formatted emails from sql server. Any suggestions please?

  You would need to build the email message using HTML tags.

  We use a few where the messages are built in an ActiveX script then sent.  We also have a table set up for notification emails with the message stored in a field.  (We use xp_smtp for our emails as sqlmail does not work on our system)
