corruption in database : what do next

    What steps should be taken once corruption has been identified through dbcc ckecdb command .I mean when mnmgt asks what amount of data would be lost ?? then what should be we proceed ahead

    I want to know steps in identifying corruption in database

    Want to identity corrupt pages in it and amount of data that would be lost

    And links ,videos would be appreciated

    I was more asking about how to troubleshoot like on which page there is corruption is data page or index page and how much amount of data has been affected...
