Copying Objects Between Databases

    Trying to copy objects between databases with import/export and I get the following error message

    Need to run the object to perform this operation

    [SQL-DMO]Code execution exception: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION

    In most cases, EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION is caused by Microsoft application bugs. Which version and service pack do you run?

    thanks for the reply, we are all set now...this was a new sql 2k server that did not have the latest sp...thanks again!

    I've noticed this error, when trying to copy multiple objects at once. In most case, but not always, it works to copy object by object. Not satisfying, though

    BTW, SQL2k, SP3.
