Consultant required for setting up best practices for security and delegation from IIS to SQL Server 2005

  • Hi

I have limited experience in setting up the security, logins, spn's and delegation for connecting iis to sql server and need some support.

I am looking to find support and/or consultant to review our current setup and advice on why it doesn't work, how to make it work and the best practices in setting this up.

I currently have IIS running on win2k3 (basegvruk), providing the app level to my clients.

I have SQL Server 2005 running on win2k3 (basprism), which we built 4 yrs ago. Delegation does seem to be working, but i think that is more luck than anything.

I have now built a new SQL Server 2005 running on win2k3 (bassqlprod). I have tried to copy as many of the delegation settings for basprism, but it doesn't seem to be working.

I have reseached the best methods to setup the delegation and there are many, i have tried to follow a few and end up breaking anything that is currently working.

    Please can somebody help.

    Many thanks

    Paul

  • I pinged a few people for you, and edited to remove your phone number. Not a great idea to post that publicly.

  • Many thanks, Steve

I look forward to some feedback.
