Okay I looked at this a couple of hours ago and decided not to post because I'm probably not the best one to answer it, but since no one has stepped up I'll try my best.

Here's my opinions:
Only use domain accounts if your SQL Server services need to access domain resources.
Use a separate domain account for each service.
Strong passwords that no one should know.
