Hi,
Please do let me know the pre req for configuration of active /active cluster.
We are planning to have 2-node active/active cluster with two separate instance running on both the nodes.
>> Would like to know about the number of IP address ( both public & private I need)
>> resource group will this be separated and independent of each other
>> Quorum and MSDTC
>> Any other consideration

You'll need an IP address and network name for the windows cluster, one for each SQL Server instance and one for the MSDTC, total = 4 of each.

you will create a separate application for each instance and during the installation pick this application group.

no special deal here just set them up as standard MSDTC wiil have its own application, you could create one DTC for each instance and put the DTC resource into the SQL Server application group
