Hi there .
Thanks for reading .
I got an issue that i have not found a solution , but i think there's must be someone who can solve it .
Here is my question :
- I have MsSql Server 2000 installed on a XP machine .
- The machine is running on a network that i can't access the router ( cos the it manager does not want to give me password ) .
Now how can i access the sql server from another location over the internet ?
Like a temporary service that can make the XP machine become accessible over the internet . What i am looking for is exactly what Logmein can do , a P2P network .
Thanks for reading again .
Regards .

If you can do that you have a serious security problem at your place of work. If you are denied access by the IT manger and even attempted to do what you want to do, and I learned about it, you would be out of a job so fast your head would be spinning.
If you must have access have your manager discuss the need with the IT manager, do NOT attempt this on your own.
