If someone states that they have a SQL certification, i.e. MCITP, MCTS, MCDBA or even have MVP status, how can I check?

Hi,
i know how to find about MVP. it is given on microsoft website. Select appropriate technology and it will give you list.

Along with that we can find out how many MCP or MCTS but individual list might be difficult to find. there are limited MVP in the world but plenty of other certification holder. Here is a link to find out number of candidate for each certification.

Not sure about MVP but the for the others the candidate will have an online transcript supplied by micorosft, which they can give you access too. They will suply with a MS url MCP number and passcode. and you can view
So simply just ask them to see their onlince transcript
