Concerning old QOD

    Hi,

    I was just trying to attempt the old QODs and I came across the following in the Security category. This one was QOD for 7/2/2003.

    The question is How would you turn on C2-Level auditing?

    The answer given by SQLServerCentral is that turn on the advanced options and set the value of 1 for 'c2 audit mode'.

    But according to BOL, since this is an advanced option, SQL Server service needs to be stopped and started.

    Can anyone confirm which is the correct one? i.e. does it need a restart or not?

    I believe you are correct in that SQL needs to restart.
