I didn't give it a though and straightforwardly clicked the answer but just after clicking (in split of seconds before showing teh result), i thought i didn't even give it enough time. Luckily it was without any issues correct one. Need to keep little more patience.

Raul, Gaz, thanks both. I should have known better than to assume SQL would apply some intelligence to the expression analysis!Odd, though, in the table designer, how the 'Allow Nulls' and 'Data Type' attributes get blanked for computed columns - no hints at all there about what is going on in its tiny mind...
It would probably not be a bad thing if MS got to know that a lot of people think that this grossly oversimplified rule for computed column nullability is silly. I doubt if it would actually do any good, though.
Anyway, a nice easy question to end the week.
