    getting below error

    Could not find server 'SHH004V' in sys.servers. Verify that the correct server name was specified. If necessary, execute the stored procedure sp_addlinkedserver to add the server to sys.servers.

    If it's a second instance then you should have something in the format

    MYSERVER\INST01.Mydb.dbo.Mytable

    (assuming your linked server is correctly set up.)

    If i use like "SHH004V\SVR5"

    getting below error.

    Msg 102, Level 15, State 1, Line 3

    Incorrect syntax near '\'.
