  I'm having a strange issue: Before the install of SQL2012 /*SP0 and SP1, too!*/ I can create cluster access points like there is no tomorrow - but literally at the very end of setup, I get a message that the SQL cluster access point failed to start, and I am unable to start any access point with a sql in it!

  Apparently Windows 2012 is special. Just give the cluster object "Create Child Object" permissions... and all will be good...
