Not sure if this question belongs here, thought I would first post here and see how it goes.
I currently use SentryOne and really big fan of the tool, I live and breathe by this tool. Been a while since I have looked what else is in the market. Does any one know of a true SAAS type performance monitoring for SQL server, kind of like Datadog and NewRelic, where I do not have to worry about the repository server .
Before someone asks "what are my requirements", If you are a DBA and dealing with performance issues on a regular basis you will know what I am looking for :). In short looking for a replacement for SentryOne with SAAS type tool. Thanks.

So, I work for Redgate, so any & all biases up front.
Nope.
Not for what you want. I've evaluated some of the SaaS monitoring tools that will monitor SQL Server. Frankly, they're awful. You'll especially hate them if you're used to SentryOne/Solarwinds. You'll be extra especially hateful when you're trying to do performance tuning. It gets worse. Try adding custom metrics of any kind. Ugh.
No, at the current moment, there just isn't a tool that does what you're looking for.
