Good question. Does anybody have a table where the identity increment isn't 1? I know it can be done and I have on test boxes but never for a real table. Curious what real world situations might be out there where something other than 1 actually is needed.

The only use I've seen is two servers that would move data to each other and each used 2, with one generating odd numbers and one even. It was a weird way of homegrown managing merge replication
