Check privilege to take back-up

  Hi all:

  I would like to know how to find a particular user has got privilege to take backup of a db or not. This should be done thru T-SQL. Is there any system procedure to achieve this?

  Any help would be really appreciated; Thanks in advance.

  To view the members of the database role db_backupoperator, which has the rights to do backups:

  EXEC sp_helpuser 'db_backupoperator'

  To check users who have been giving backup permissions explicitly:

  EXEC sp_helprotect 'BACKUP DATABASE'

  EXEC sp_helprotect 'BACKUP LOG'
