In the cube editor it's easy enough to change a measure name. But when I try it in VB, I find the measure in a loop, change the name with 'measure.name="NewName"' and update the cube. I can see the change in the cube editor, but when I reprocess the cube, I get the message that "the object has disconnected from its client", and the reprocess fails.
What did I leave out of my code that the interface procedure does?

I really dont have a clue here, Jennifer...but is there a chance the connection is timing out? I would think you would receive a time out error message though...
