  Hi

  I'm trying to find where to change the name of my server for the emaillinks that Iam sending from the portal.

  I have nice names in the DNS that I want to use, but so far the link is like:

  \\myuglyservername\reportserver........

  I found hoe to do it in SQL 2005, but I need it for 2008

  Hello,

  I have been able to change it going to C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSRS10\Reporting Services\ReportServer

  Edit your rsreportserver.config file.

  Locate the UrlRoot section and enter the fully qualified url. Example

  <UrlRoot>https://server.domain.com/Reports</UrlRoot&gt;

  open that config file in Notepad and make changes and save it in same location.

  I tried it doing with Visual studio's but it will not work.
