I have been playing with security settings to allow a bulk copy which is still not working. Now when I double click (or right click > properties) on a SQL Server Agent Job, It automatically brings up the "New Job Window". Note, this is using SQL Server Management Studio on the physical machine.
When I use another PC (using the same sa userid) I can view the details or these jobs.
I can view the details of each job if I click on Job Activity Monitor and Right Click Properties on a specific Job.
Very strange...
Any help is appreciated.

Reinstall the client tools on the server where things are behaving strange? 😀
Seems like some pretty strange happenings for sure. If you are using the same account from both locations and behavior is different (with the one being outright odd) I would definitely think there was something wrong with the install. I would also be sure to check what .NET components you are running on both boxes to see if they are the same as I'm sure that would affect things pretty heavily as well.

Did you find the answer to this?
I have the same situation.
On the develpment pc, I can view the job properties from history, but from object explorer the properties are blank.

Hi,
Even i face the same prob, but may be this is the Configuration issues.
The alternative for this is Go to the Object Explorer in sqlserver-> Select the Job Activity Monitor-> Right Click -> Properties -> There you can find the list of all jobs-> Select the job which you want to see, right click properties -> Now You can view all the list of job properties.
Thanks!
Sharifuddin.
