Dunno if this is the right place to ask, but here goes:
I'm trying my hand to building a SSIS package and wish to set some variables. I click Menu SSIS>Variables, but nothing happens, no Variables windows is visible. On another pc I get the Variables windows as expected. Is there some configuration, which hides this windows? Is it a faulty installation and should I re-install?
Help?

It will be there somewhere, as a tab/window - though possibly its position will vary from one PC to another, as the VS IDE is very flexible in the way it displays these windows.
But, as far as I know, it cannot be disabled.
If you haven't even tried to resolve your issue, please don't expect the hard-working volunteers here to waste their time providing links to answers which you could easily have found yourself.

Are you sure it isn't just docked in a weird position? I agree it can't be disabled, but it can be moved around. I keep mine docked and minimized on the left edge, right beside the toolbox.
