I have a new system setup with Win 2K Server and SQL Server 2K. I would like to take advantage of the Windows authentication, but my client logins are not asking for the domain name.
The login window is setup for "Clients for a Microsoft Network".
My clients are Win98.
I have also tried on 1 PC, putting in the Win 2K server disk and running the client install, but made no difference.
I have also enabled WINS.
I have a PDC setup on the server.
I am now out of ideas since this is not my are of knowledge, and am looking for help from the experts out there.
Any help would be appreciated!

Not sure this is a SQL issue. Are you actually able to log into the domain from a client machine? Until you get that working you won't be able to use NT authentication in your apps for connecting to SQL.

Got it to work last night. Silly problem... In networking - Client networking, I never went into properties to set NT login etc... I didn't even realize that info was there.
I'm sure I'll hit another snag.
Thanks for the info.
