can't deploy SSAS project 2012

    Hi guys,

    I'm using SQL Server 2012 Developer edition on a Win7 notebook with visual studio 2010. Deploying the project "AdventureWorksDW2012Multi-EE" to "machine\Server" or to localhost fails with "... can't connect to redirectory service ... browser service not startet". Any idea?

    Have you started the browser service on your machine? can't remember the exact circumstances but i think when using a named instance, because te port numbers are not standard you need the browser service running.

    Hi Steve,

    Yes. Browser Service is running. That was what I checkt first.
