What error? Are you running in SQL Server 2008? This is a 2008 forum.

Yes, when I check Enterprise Manager, Help, About it says Version 8.0
I get this error when trying to append a record to a db table from an asp page.

Version 8.0 is actually "SQL Server 2000."
