  • You just saved me from having to start my machine over from scratch.

    I uninstalled the trial version of VS 2013, and was left with this problem.

    Your solution fixed it in 2 minutes!

    just one thing to remember that copy these 5 dll from system which never had installed VS2012 in it before, other wise this solution would not work.

  • I have the same error. And now I have sql server 2012 data tool BI installed. 2012 works, but 2008R2 doesn't work.

    I want to keep both BI tools on my computer.

    Are the two versions share the same ddls, or if I replace the ddls, will both version work?
