Im trying to enable lock pages in memory for my default instance of SQL Server 2008R2 Enterprise, running on Windows Server 2008 R2.
Sqlserver.exe is running under a domain account. Ive followed the Microsoft instructions here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms190730(v=sql.105).aspx
but when i check in the log after restart of the service there is no indication that locked pages is being used (i.e no messages like "Server Using locked pages for buffer pool.").
Ive tried with localSystem as the service account for sql server but again no luck. Any ideas what might be going on here?
