Cannot drop table "marked for replication"

    Good day.

    We are running SQL Server 2008R2 Ent 64 bit and configured Transactional Replication . A few changes were made on the Published database a snapshot was created after the changes . But when we ran the snapshot immedaitely after it was created it displayed the following errormessage on the subscriber database "cannot drop table as it is used for replication" . It sounds a bit odd as the snapshot has to bring the subscriber in-line. Any ideas ?

    Hi ,

    This kind of error generally occurs when we are trying to drop the table which is already selected in article selection during the replication/ publication setup.

    Does your changes reflect any article drop ?
