Cannot delete

    One of our disk used for backup is completely full over the weekend. I tried to delete files and the error message says:

    'cannot delete: Disk doesn't have free space. Delete one or more file to free some space and try again.'

    I am stuck! please advice.

    Try shift-delete so it doesnt go to the recycle bin maybe?

    Also empty the recycle bin, if there is somthing in it.

    Thanks for your'll advice.

    I rebooted the SQLserver last night and was

    able to delete at the console. We have RPC problem for a long time and reboot cleared RPC problem. Clear the wastebasket is a great start.
