BIDS only shows maintence plan tasks

  • When I open visual studio, and create a integration service project, in hte toolbox, why I can only see Maintenance plan task there, I didn't see the Control flow tasks.

how can I make it work like before or default for SSIS packge developement?

    Thanks

  • Is a previous project opening up when you open it? Or do you have a completely blank project?

  • A new blank project

  • What do you have listed in the solution explorer tab?

  • Yes, that's exactly what I see

  • And in your toolbox, is the window scrollable - each item is collapsible as displayed in this image.

  • No, I still cannot see it.

Here is a screenshot in attachment

  • It look like package.dtsx was an existing one and is a maint plan package.

Create a brand new package with a different path and a different name.

  • I ask another person to remotely into the box just I do, he can see the control flow tasks in the tool box.

Is that only settings for my visual studio, how can i reset the setting totally to what is default?

I did try in the tool box reset tool box, it still not show.
