Hi,
I am looking for BenchMarking procress details.We are about to set up new prod env in few months.My mgr wants me to do benchmarking(document the process first,then do the actual task)
Any help is appriciated

Don't see too much on benchmarking per se. Probably should write something up on this.

Steve, U are right. Havent come accross any formal docs on benchmark preparations/process or there of..there are many articles on perf tuning which is the main course though.
It would be of great help if would write detaild article on step by step procedure to follow in setting up BM on any env.

Benchmarking a pretty involved process, hence the eBook. 🙂 I cover how to go about benchmarking, how to use Excel to generate usable graphs, what counters to monitor in Perfmon, and what some of the performance killers are, and how to look for them in Profiler.
