Dear friends,
i'm new in SQL Server 2000 backup media.
i know something of tape backup..but what do you recommend for SQL Server 2000 media backup ? the data is quite big and we need cheap and reliable media.

I prefer to backup to disk, then copy to tape or other media. Having the latest backup on disk will greatly increase your recovery time as you will not have to wait for the tape or other media to come back from off-site storage. Having the copy on tape or other media will ensure that you do not lose that backup in the event your server goes down or you lose a disk.
