Azure Log Analytics or SQL Profiler for AAS?

    I think you can use both SQL Server Profiler or Azure Log Analytics for Azure Analysis Services logging. But which one is the better option?

    I am not an Azure Analysis Services expert by any means. However, Azure SQL Database, I believe part of the underlying architecture, doesn't support Profiler/Trace. Instead, you must use Extended Events. However, neither tool is mentioned in the documentation. However, since it looks like, based on the DMVs, there is some database there, I'll put money down it's Azure SQL Database and therefore, only Extended Events.
