Average And Sum Problem..Need help guys!!!!

  • In my report the problem is that when quarters are being displayed for the respective year as selected--->average values should be shown...but when the quarter column is collapsed by using the "+" button...and months ,other dimensions are shown --->the sum values should be shown...how do i write this expression ????..because the same values...the same column in the matrix should be shown as average for the quarters rowgroup and then as Sum for the months and dimension rowgroup when the (+) button is clicked for the quarters rowgroup.

    Some body please help in this problem! Does anyone know is there an IIF expression that is explictly EVENT DRIVEN ,that is when  the (+) is clicked and months  or dimensions get displayed the sum values are shown.

    Will be grateful to anyone who can help on this....
