Availability Groups - Can I mix?

    Hi,

    I have an H/A group that has two listeners.

    I have a serverA (main server) then a serverB that is now in H/A - synchronous.

    I need to add a DR server/site but that server is in another state and the connection is not the greatest. So, I was hoping to have that connection be asynchronous while my other two servers (A & B) are synchronous.

    Can I mix them like that?

    Yes, in fact that is the standard. Each connection to the primary is independently defined as synch or asynch, and in fact what you describe is the textbook approach to HA and DR with AGs.
