Has anyone tried to track logon/logoff events using triggers; I mean DDL type triggers? Can we use the TRC_SECURITY_AUDIT directly, or should we create event notifications specifically? Any help is appreciated!

With SP2 for SQL 2005 MS introduced LOGON Triggers.
