Auditing Logs

    What tools has everyone used successfully to maintain SQL server logs for audits such as Sarbanes Oxley, SAS 70, etc?

    I have considered using triggers to do this, but aside the annoyance of generating that many of them it is challenging to prove that they have not been tampered with.

    For SOX Click on server properties, Security and you can do the options...enable c2 audit tracing...this will become very large as it records a lot of details.
