  Our Application Structure is such that we route all connections to the Database from the Web-Server via a single user, say conUser. While running a trace on the Production Box, I noticed this user has multiple Login and Logout Audits. The duration from each is between 75 to 150 seconds with reads in the range of 2000 to 3 mln.

  We are getting a lot of heat from our clients for speed of the system.

  Would the above process be responsible for speed issues?

  We are using SQLXML, XML templates ...

  Is there a way to reduce the number of Audit Login and Logout, and if not atleast reduce the time and reads for the same.
