Application Role and Stored Procedure

  • I have set a database into Application Role and within this database I have a Stored Procedure that I need to run several times during the application.

However, the Stored Procedure only runs once and then on the second time of being called SQL Server says that I do not have Execute permission!

Has anyone come across this before me?

  • What does the proc do? It, or something else in the stack, may be changing your security context using EXECUTE AS or sp_unsetapprole. Can you post the procedure code?
