My SQL 2008 database auditing specifications write output to the application log in the Windows event viewer. It used to work fine and I could actually see the select/insert/etc statements in the application log. Now all I see is the following error over and over. However, the server auditing specifications write to the log just fine. Has anyone had luck resolving this error?
The data portion of event 33205 from MSSQLSERVER is invalid.
I have PCI auditors coming to see this data in two weeks!
Any help is appreciated!

Just wanted to comment that after rebooting the server things are a little bit better. Although all the error messages entries are still being entered into the application log, the actual auditing entries are there too now. So this is much less critical because I can show the auditors that we are tracking these actions.
