Any way to disconnect SSIS package with Connection Managers?

  • I need to look at my old SSIS packages I designed at my old job.

But validation fails and I have tons of OLE DB errors and it's understandable.

All those Connection Managers don't exist in my environment.

Is there any way to disconnect everything.

I just need to look at how things were implemented nside Lookup objects to refresh it in my memory. I don't need to run the package.

  • Select from top menu SSIS->Work Offline. This would prevent the package from trying to connect to your datasources

  • Such a simple thing as that. Wow! Saved me a lot of work. Ah to read the File Menu line.

    Thanks!
