  All,

  How many levels are there in ANSI standard?

  is it mandatory that each DB has to follow ANSI standard? Say for example, if i found a new DB called 'aaaa' do i need to follow ANSI standard, or do i need to get any license from ANSI?

  Do i need to follow ANSI standard while developing my DB or after getting the approval from ANSI do i have to do any modifications?

  Actually what is the link between DB and ANSI standard?

  Is there any other standard available in the market which is related to DB?

  ANSI is a group that publishes standards.

  You never need to follow a standard, but doing so makes your product more compatible.
