  I am trying to provide reporting to the Data Owners showing the security setup within the cube. Specifically I am interested in a role's members and the Allowed/Denied member sets in the Dimension Data. I have been unable to find a way to get this information out of SSAS without using the GUI. Has anyone found a tool or a query to get the data out of SSAS?

  BI Documenter comes to mind. It's not free but am pretty sure it does document the roles.

  Note, if you're handy with C#, and this is *all* you want to grab out, you could write a small app to do this yourself.
