Analysis Services 2005 and 2000 Database

    Is it possible to use Analysis Services 2005 and point to a 2000 database?  We are not able at this time to convert the sql server 2000 data warehouse db to 2005, but will be installing 2005 on a separate server.  Can we point to 2000 data?  Has anyone done this successfully?

    Definitely, yes, we do this quite often (have an enterprise app that clients opt to upgrade for the AS/cubing but can't simply cut across to the SQL2K5 immediately).

    We've done this as well and havnt had a single problem, not like we have trying to migrate 2000 cubes to 2005.
