Analysing SQLIO Figures

    I ran some benchmarking tests on underlying storage, and result is as follows. I am a little dissapointed with the sequrntial figures as I though they should be better than this. Any comments. The config has seperate isolated disks, logs is RAID 1 and data is RAID 5. HP EVA storage which uses virtual RAID arrays.

    It would be difficult to comment on the results as we don't know the database workload & database design.

    This is just a benchmark load, the intended DB workload is a datawarehouse.
