An Active Job Search

  • Thank you Steve for the good thoughts.

The job interview I think candidates forget is a double interview. You as a candidate are interviewing the company as well and gauging its culture. And we all know a interview does give impressions but not necessarily truth. Only with time do you know if a job will work out and the same for a new employee. AND sometime hiring personnel are not forthcoming about their culture, as you may discover later. So there is always the element of risk  you should be aware of.

  • It should be a double interview for sure. I coached my son to think this. However, that's hard to understand when you need a position and there is some concern over doing anything that might reduce your chances.

That's why I say the best time to find a job is when you have a job. You can interview the company more thoroughly.
