Hi all - In light of the fact we are not on SP2 yet I am wanting to configure my replicaiton such that an alert is fired on agent succes. I have enabled the alert however the default message ID for this is 14150 and is set to not log to the event viewer. I can not switch this on either as messages below 50000 can not be set to be logged.
So I have created a custom message with ID 50001. My quesiton is though how do I get the agent to raise this error to the event log upon success such that the alert can be fired?

Some further info - I have traced the error logging back to a procedure in the Distribution database called [sys].[sp_MSrepl_raiserror]. I would like to alter this proc to raise the error I have defined but when I run the alter command I get a:
Msg 208, Level 16, State 6, Procedure sp_MSrepl_raiserror, Line 34
Invalid object name 'sys.sp_MSrepl_raiserror'.
Any ideas?
