Agent failure (not a valid win32 application)

    The replication was working fine...but suddely the Logreader agent and the distributor agent failed. The error reported was "is not a valid win32 application". The system log of event viewer had and error reported with the source DCOM "F:\MSSQL7\binn\logread.exe is not a valid win32 application.

    any clue what might be wrong.

    Sounds bad! Tried restarting it I imagine? Maybe the file was corrupted, I'd suggest trying a reboot if you can, maybe replacing the logreader.exe from another box running same service pack.
